I first met Jen and Michael early in January 2010 and it was clear from that first meeting that they were a fun couple planning a fun wedding. They were an absolute delight to be around and seemed to just lift the day by their presence having a really laid back attitude.

They chose to have a civil ceremony at Whitley Hall in Sheffield and had exclusive use of the venue for the day. Both Jen an Michael got ready at Whitley and this allowed filming of both of them prior to the ceremony, which gives a great feel to the start of the film, when edited with some shots of Whitley Hall that I filmed the week earlier during a meeting with the couple.

One request Jen has was to make her two youngest bridesmaids ‘fairies’. There are a number of scenes in the film where I have done just this, I even managed to get Jen changing from her normal clothes to her Bridal gown with a swish of their wands!

The ceremony was punctuated with one of Jens friends singing, she also sang the first dance, which was a really nice touch.

The film we created matches Jen and Michael's personalities beautifully and using two cameras for the majority of the day meant that we captured some great footage.
